Search Engine Engineering is the next generation of developing websites for Search Engines. Often people (read graphic web developers) try to sell clients on search engine optimization, which takes the clients copy and may add some meta data or add a few keywords.

Search Engine Engineering is constructing websites, from the ground up, to perform well on search engines.
